2020 changed everything. While the world faced a public health crisis and a climate crisis, our family was navigating a personal health scare that forced us to rethink the choices we were making every day. Growing up in different parts of the world—Meghan (my wife) in the lush suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, and Tom (myself) on the pristine shores of eastern Long Island—we shared a deep respect for nature and balance. Those early memories became our north star as we watched both our lives and the planet shift. We realized that what we used to clean our homes mattered as much as the food we ate and the products we put on our bodies. That realization became our catalyst for change
Inspired by the cradle-to-cradle philosophy—designing products with their next life in mind—we created Earth Recovery as a platform for better choices. Our uncompromising approach was simple: health-first products made with biodegradable ingredients and responsible, recyclable packaging.
Our goal was clear: reduce toxic exposure and unnecessary waste to create an immediate impact for our families and the environment.

Earth Recovery: Protecting Workers While Protecting the Ocean
In Mexico, community waste-picking centers collecting raw, ocean-bound plastic used to make Earth Recovery bottles were independently assessed by NEST, which sets global standards for ethical compliance in informal work settings.
The program offered more than income. Through NEST’s evaluation—focused on fair pay, safe conditions, and sanitation—we ensured that the materials entering our bottles were sourced in a way that upheld the rights, dignity, and well-being of the people doing the work.
Ocean-bound plastic collected from community centers is cleaned, processed, and transformed into high-quality plastic pellets used to make Earth Recovery bottles for our all-natural cleaners. This material preparation is carried out in partnership with Envision Plastics, ensuring the recovered plastic meets the performance and safety standards required for reuse—giving discarded waste a second life as durable, functional packaging.
